AWES16 First call for abstracts
You are invited to attend the 16th Australasian Wind Engineering Society Workshop at the Brisbane Marriott Hotel between July 18 and 19, 2013. The workshop will provide a forum for practicing and academic engineers, scientists and architects to present and discuss their latest findings in the field of wind engineering. The workshop and its social functions will allow ample opportunity for robust discussion of new and existing challenges in the field as well as encouraging networking and the development of new collaborations. A broad scope of presentation topics and attendees are welcomed.
April 2012
Beginning in 2012 the AWES will be awarding the AWES Undergraduate Wind Engineering Prize to the best final year wind engineering thesis/project from Australian and New Zealand universities. Undergraduate students involved in studies within any of wind engineering's broad fields, which may include, Meteorology, Wind loading and Structural Response (of buildings, bridges, and towers), Aerodynamics, Ventilation, Wind Energy, Wind hazard and Vulnerability etc. are encouraged to consider submission.
