ACTIVITIES
The Society holds a two day workshop approxiamtely
every 18 months. The last of these was in Queenstown, New Zealand in
early 2005 with the subsequent workshop incorporated into the 12th International
Conference on Wind Engineering hosted by the society in July 2007. Members
and invited guest speakers are encouraged to present wind engineering
related work that they have been involved in since the last workshop.
The next workshop will be in Hobart in early December 2008.
Immediately proceeding these workshops the Society
organises a one day seminar for practising engineers on wind engineering
related areas. This includes discussion on aspects of the Australian
Wind Code.
The Society also produces a newsetter distributed
twice a year to members via the website and a mailout.
